Every Summer Has a Story- Summer 2013

What an amazing summer we have had. For us, school has been in for a week but this was it sweet. I wish I could go back in time and relive it. (Get ready for major picture overload!...buckle up buttercup.)
We started the summer by saying good-bye to a member of the family. We sadly said good-bye to "Rodey" the Rodeo. My car that has seen me through the last 13 years!
...But we brought home this beauty. I am in love! So far she doesn't have a name. Feel free to offer your suggestions.
Plenty of afternoons were spent at Happy Hour (and a few evenings were spent with 1/2 price milkshakes).
We enjoyed story time at the library...
...and Jackson got to go to his first over night church camp. He was even cool with me chaperoning.
We fished at the Bartlett fishing rodeo.
Buddy even came to help us.
We caught 3 fish and a turtle. Yes, a turtle.
Fourth of July was spent watching fireworks and accessorizing with glow sticks!
Jackson turned 6!!! 6!!! I am still trying to figure out how he is 6. He chose to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings.
It's safe to dive into a kiddie pool, right? Ok, it's not a dive...more like a belly flop.
And what do you do after you swim? Take a shower outside with the water hose of course.
We had a fun staycation where we ate our way through Memphis. Central Bar B Q...
...and La Michoacána were our faves! You can't go wrong with Bar B Q nachos and palates!
We wrapped up the summer with a trip to the drive-in. This was a super busy summer but it was one of the best times ever. Fun times spent with my favorite people in the world.
